From the Desk of Evangelist Anita Fuentes
It is our deepest and sincere concern that many in the Church have allowed themselves to be swept up into a severe and subtle delusion concerning the recent elections and the last hour we are still very much living in. I fear for your souls as I see the current state of the Church being tested by the hand of God and right now much are failing this most important test.
Now before you go sending me an email on the latest “message from God” concerning the new President-elect let me save you some time…
We are not interested in any “fireman prophecy updates” “King Cyrus analogies” or the continuous “new words from the Lord” concerning Donald J. Trump and the “New America” for this concern is not about the new President-elect as much as it is about the current readiness and state of the Church, the Body of Christ.
Chances are if you are one who believe that God has abstained His hand of judgment over this nation and the globe in His soon coming because of the recent outcome of the 2016 U.S. elections you have either knowingly or unwittingly fallen into a false doctrine of what is called Kingdom Now Theology/ Postmillennialism.
Let me quickly explain:
Postmillennialism: (Also known as “Christian Reconstruction”, “Kingdom Now Theology” and “Dominion Theology.”) is a belief that involves “that the kingdom of God is now being extended in the world through the preaching of the gospel and the saving work of the Holy Spirit, that the world eventually is to be Christianized, and that the return of Christ will occur at the close of a long period of righteousness and peace, commonly called the millennium.”
This belief, expressed in the book of Revelation to John, the last book of the New Testament, that Christ will establish a 1,000-year reign of the saints on earth (the millennium) before the Last Judgment. More broadly defined, it is a cross-cultural concept grounded in the expectation of a time of supernatural peace and abundance on earth.
This theory is literally based on the perception of a gradual movement towards social perfection.
This false doctrine predicts that a massive religious revival, spiritual awakening and purification would occur.
The entire human race would be converted to Christianity, including the Jews, Atheists & Muslims.
A millennium of peace and righteousness follows.
After the millennium, Jesus returns to earth, resurrects the dead believers, and conducts the last judgment.
The Last Days, Signs of the Times, Rapture and Tribulation are ignored and abolished.
This belief is being actively promoted today in Western Churches worldwide.
I don’t know about you but that sounds exactly like what the Bible defines as the rule and reign of the time of the Anti-Christ Beast System.
“And in the latter time of their kingdom,
When the transgressors have reached their fullness,
A king shall arise,
Having fierce features,
Who understands sinister schemes.
His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
He shall destroy fearfully,
And shall prosper and thrive;
He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.
“Through his cunning
He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;
And he shall exalt himself in his heart.
He shall destroy many in their prosperity.
He shall even rise against the Prince of princes;
But he shall be broken without human means.
“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street[a] shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
Ezekiel 13:10-11, “Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:3, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
Jeremiah 8:11-12, “For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.”]
